  11. Subject: help installing xdvi

  13. I was trying to intall the xdvik-1.8 on a Sun Sparc and got the
  14. following error when compiling the source with gcc:

  16. gcc -L/usr/openwin/lib/X11 -g  -o xdvi xdvi.o dvi_init.o dvi_draw.o epsf.o font-open.o fontfmts.o  tpic.o util.o vf.o  alloca.o ../kpathsea/kpathsea.a -lXaw -lXmu -lXt -lXext -lX11  -lm

  27. When I ignored this and do a "make install", I got the following when
  28. running the xdvi:

  30. xdvi: Font cmr10 not found.
  31. xdvi: Not all pixel files were found
  32.  
  33. Please give me some advice on this. Thanks.
